Job Announcement Lawrence County Mechanic The Lawrence County Commission is accepting applications until May 10, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. for the position of Mechanic.

Job requirements: Performs standard repairs and maintenance of gasoline/diesel powered automotive and heavy equipment. Heavy equipment repair and maintenance. Assists in completing complex repairs and overhaul of county equipment.

Willing to work overtime and weekends in emergencies. Have a valid Alabama Driver's License. Any combination of education and/or experience which meets the necessary mechanical qualifications.

High school diploma or equivalent. Pay Grade 9 - $18.93 per hour to $24.22 per hour.
